Rustic Italian Herb Chicken

🤔Kids: Papi what are you going to make tonight?

So what do I do? Run into the kitchen with my iPhone so you all can see what I got cooking tonight. Lol. I just had the “idea” of videoing it. So enjoy what the kids!

Recipe:

Chicken Thighs or Wings
Essential Oil Blend in Olive Oil
– 2 drops each of doterra Marjoram and Basil
– 1 toothpick swirl into the EVOO of doterra
Thyme and Oregano
Cut up veggies:
1/4 Green Pepper
1/4 Large Onions
Small handful of Cilantro and Parsley (Chopped)
2 cloves garlic
Seasonings and whole herbs
1 rosemary twig whole branch (will remove later)
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp sat and pepper to start

Marinate all the ingredients above along with the EO infused olive oil for 20 mins.

Cook everything on med-high for 10 mins. Until chicken starts browning.

Add 1 tbsp of butter and about 1/4 cup of water or broth.

Use a wooden spatula to start scraping the bottom of the pan..you will see it to start bubbling and rapidly evaporating. This is called deglazing.

Add about another 1/2 cup to your chicken and cover tightly for 15-20 mins. Flipping occasionally and checking to see if you need to add a bit more water. Depending on your stove you may need to lower the heat.

Once it looks like a gravy and rendered. Turn it off and wait 5 mins covered. Serve. Buen Provecho
